First, don't blindly pursue precious species, many people think that if you want to have good floor quality, you have to buy a higher price of solid wood flooring; In fact, a good floor is not necessarily an expensive floor, because things are scarce and expensive, not necessarily good things are expensive, this is the market economy; Therefore, when we buy, we should choose parquet flooring suitable for our own decoration style according to our specific needs, and do not blindly pursue precious wood species;

Second, the large-scale solid wood floor is required, hoping that there is no color difference; Due to the market consumption orientation of merchants, many people have pursued large-scale solid wood flooring excessively in recent years. I hope to have a decoration effect without color difference; However, in fact, it is difficult to process large-scale solid wood flooring, and the quality can only barely reach the standard, and the difference between internal and external tension and the degree of wet expansion and contraction are relatively large; At the same time, the demand for large-size wood flooring is increasing year by year, which is very unfavorable to the protection of forest resources.

Third, the floor decoration has too high requirements for the flatness of the floor. Now some people think that the best way to decorate a solid wood floor is the wood keel method, that is, the ground is covered with a wooden keel, then added joinery or particleboard, and finally a solid wood floor is installed. In this way, it seems that we are laying a solid wood floor on a floor that is almost horizontal; However, because of this installation, the durability of the man-made board that has been laid for many years has entered the solid wood floor, which corrodes and softens, and finally causes the solid wood floor to break due to imbalance;

The purchase of parquet mainly depends on the following indicators:

1) Texture: It is the standard for judging the quality of the floor, and the regular texture is beautiful and generous, do not choose the floor with disorganized texture.

2) Color: High-quality solid wood flooring should have natural tones, clear wood grain, and the material is visible to the naked eye. If the surface of the floor is dark and the paint layer is thick, it may be intentional to cover up the surface defects of the floor, especially when the floor is painted on six sides.

3) Cracks: Cracks are inevitable on the floor of medium and low grades, but it is not good if they are too big. Some cracks arise between the grain of the wood, and this crack will not extend and can be used with confidence, but some cracks are through the grain, so you must not buy it, because these cracks will extend and have a great negative impact on the future.

4) Knots: that is, knots, which can be divided into living knots and dead knots. As a natural product, it is impossible to do without knots, and the reasonable distribution of knots will make wood products more beautiful.

The state stipulates that all live knots with a diameter of 3mm and dead knots with a diameter of 2mm and without falling off are not regarded as defective knots.
