Where to start with a suspended ceiling

If you don't count the design and preparation of raw materials, the first step is to install the keel of the ceiling.

The keel has small square wooden strips, and there are iron and aluminum alloys. It is divided into the main keel and the secondary keel.

Before installation, measure the horizontal line and draw it with a marker.

The ceiling keel shall not be twisted or deformed, and the installed ceiling keel shall be firm and reliable, and the allowable deviation of the surrounding level shall be 5mm.

If there are light lamps and lanterns that can be hung on the main keel, lamps or ceiling fans weighing more than 3kg shall not be connected with the ceiling keel, and another hook should be hung. Install the hook before installing the cover panel.

After the keel is done as a whole, the cover panel can be installed.

The ceiling cover panel should be tightly connected with the keel, and the surface should be flat; The paper gypsum panel is generally fixed on the keel with galvanized screws, and the nail head should be coated with anti-rust paint. The pasted cover shall not be delaminated, and the shelved cover panel shall not be leaking, penetrating or warping. The joints should be consistent, the beads should be straight and without warping, and the junction between the cover panel and the wall, curtain box, lamps, etc. should be tight.
