2. Blockboard, commonly known as large core board in the industry. The large core board is made of two pieces of veneer pressed together in the middle. The price of large core board is cheaper than that of thin core board, and its vertical (distinguished by the direction of the core material) bending strength is poor, but the lateral bending strength is higher.

Blockboard "Big Core Board": Good moisture-proof effect, can not be directly painted. It can be made of furniture and wooden doors and door covers, heating covers, curtain boxes, etc., and its waterproof and moisture-proof performance is better than that of particleboard and MDF.

When selecting, look at its internal wood, it should not be too broken, and the gap between the wood is about 3mm blockboard. Due to the unsightly appearance of the wood grain exposed on the surface, it is rarely painted directly, and veneer plywood is usually pasted. Furniture and other woodware made of large core boards need to go through two processes: glued board and painting, and the cost is higher.

The large core board is divided into 3, 5 and 9 centiboards according to the thickness, and you can choose according to the pressure and strength you bear, and the thicker the higher the price.
