Check to see if the sewer pipe has an anti-drain pipe, i.e. an S-shaped pipe, if you don't go to the decorative material market or pipe store to buy one.
There's a problem with your sewer design, there's too many backbends, and your sewer pipe is already higher than your outlet, so it's no wonder that the water doesn't go back.
