Usually, when the dog arrives at home, it starts to go to the place where it wants to be convenient as soon as the dog wants to be convenient (there will be signs of going around in one place before the dog is convenient), or even if it has started to pee (this place is not recommended to be a toilet, many medium and large dogs will not be convenient in a place that has been occupied by the owner, that is, convenient). You can learn it by sticking to it for a while (as short as a few days, as long as a few months). My dog came to the house for 2 weekends of training, that is, OK.

Then you must be patient with the things that are convenient for the dog, and don't scold, because peeing is the most humble begging for mercy in the dog's language. Because you pee and hit him, the dog may think that you don't think he is peeing hard enough. Even later when I see you peeing.

7 months old, if you take the dog out every day, the dog will get used to being outside conveniently. The average dog can get used to solving problems outside twice a day in about 4-6 months. When you are younger, you may have more frequents.

Staying in a cage is not the solution, because in a cage the dog will never learn how to live outside the cage.
