There are 22 tree species in the third part, mainly from the national standard "Names of Major Timber in China" (GB T 16734-1997), which can be used by enterprises to use domestic hardwood and dark precious hardwood furniture decoration timber.

The definition of "mahogany furniture products" has also been added to the new industry standard, that is, "among the dark precious hardwood furniture products, the products with materials that meet the provisions of GB T 18107 2000 "Mahogany are called mahogany furniture products", and it is pointed out in the introduction that mahogany furniture is only a part of dark precious hardwood furniture. Since they are a subset of them, the 33 mahogany species naturally fit the definition of a dark precious hardwood and meet the characteristics listed in the above two items; But beyond that, the 33 mahogany species have their own unique characteristics.
