How to install the home decoration entrance door?

1. Installation of door frame.

Before installation, we first need to make sure that the size of the entrance door purchased matches the door opening. Secondly, we need to open the packaging box of the door, check whether there are wear, bumps, paint peeling and other phenomena in all parts of the door, and whether its various accessories are complete. Then prepare the relevant installation tools.

When installing the door frame, we need to find two side frames, fix them first, and then drill two small holes to facilitate the fixation of the wood screws. Next, we need to drill a counterbore hole on the side, so that it is convenient for us to fix it with expansion screws during installation, so as to ensure that the top and side frames are locked with wooden screws after alignment. It is best to place a temporary fixed wooden square under the door frame to assist in the correction, so that the door frame is roughly vertical square.

2. Installation of door openings.

We need to put the combined door frame into the door opening, adjust its position and the gap at the top of it, and then use a wooden wedge to straighten and tighten the door frame. For the gap between the wall and the door frame, we can fill it with styrofoam or cement slurry, wait until the styrofoam or cement slurry is air-dried, and then remove the temporary fixed timber square and saw off the excess protruding wooden wedges. After that, the front door frame line and the rear door frame line are pasted on the door frame with glue, and the insertion depth is adjusted according to different wall widths.

3. Installation of the door leaf.

Finally, we need to install the door leaf, the specific method is: we need to put the frame line of the door sleeve into the wall hole first, so that its door frame edge and the top of the door frame are at an angle of 45 degrees, so as to ensure that the two sides of the door frame are parallel and perpendicular to the top of the door frame. After that, we need to mark the corresponding position on the door leaf, reserve an appropriate gap, process 2-3mm slots on the door leaf, fasten the hinge with the equipped screws, temporarily fix the door leaf on the corresponding installation position, and adjust it to the exact position, mark the fixed position of the hinge on the door frame, process the hinge groove on the door frame, connect the door leaf with the hinge and fix the hinge.
