Method 1: Look at the grade of the plate.

There is a certain standard for the formaldehyde emission of the plate. At present, the national standard for the use of furniture panels is E1 level, that is, the formaldehyde emission is; The formaldehyde emission is less than the E0 standard is the European standard that China will soon adopt, this kind of plate is the most environmentally friendly on the market, but the price is also more expensive. For example:

The price of blockboard (sandwich panel) is more than 140 yuan square meters; The price of decorative panels is also more than 100 yuan square meters; The solid wood board is more than 200 yuan square meters.

Method 2: Look at the certification.

Any board, if it claims to be environmentally friendly, then it must have the green building materials ten ring certification mark of the State Environmental Protection Administration. This is the main criterion for measuring the scale, product quality and comprehensive strength of a furniture brand enterprise. Wooden furniture needs to be certified by China Quality Certification Center CQC furniture products.

Method 3: Look at the report.

Whether the furniture is environmentally friendly requires the business to provide a test report from an authoritative organization at or above the provincial level, and the test report must be issued by the quality inspection department of the place of sale. In addition, furniture must be provided with product instructions, which have only recently become mandatory.

For the specific identification method, we take blockboard (sandwich panel) as an example: the board produced by regular manufacturers will be clearly printed on the side of the board with specifications, grades, exemptions, formaldehyde release grades, etc.

Therefore, when we buy furniture, we can't just use the smell as the basis for judging whether a piece of furniture is environmentally friendly and pollution-free. Many furniture manufacturers claim that their furniture is absolutely environmentally friendly and absolutely green, but they will not write the corresponding indicators into the contract, and it is meaningless to verbally explain.
