The good thing about rattan furniture is that after drying, it will return to its original shape and size. Therefore, it is important that rattan furniture is not allowed to deform its woven shape and its gaps when it is wet, because when it dries, the rattan shrinks to its original size.

The rattan is often painted or stained, and if it is dirty, it needs to be cleaned properly, but if the cleaning still does not make it as good as new, a thin coat of lacquer can be applied to remove the stain.
