2. Moisture-proof treatment.

In areas with low humidity or interior walls that are not easy to contact with water, the practice of moisture-proof treatment is generally to brush two layers of water asphalt on the surface of the wooden keel.

The moisture content of woodworking board should be 8-12%, the relative humidity in the south is large, the moisture content can be higher, but not more than 15%, the relative humidity in the north is small, the air is dry, about 6-12%. The moisture content of the solid and beautiful board is controlled below 8% to avoid the generation of core bubbles (commonly known as bubble boards). The moisture content should be based on the equilibrium moisture content of the local wood.

For the same core, the same moisture content should be used.

3. Installation of base plate.

The base plate is generally made of woodworking board, which can be fixed on the wooden keel with air gun nails, or can be fixed with self-tapping screws. Before sealing the nail, the two-way ink line is played on the surface of the plywood according to the two-way spacing of the keel to determine the fixed position of the nail. When installing, it is fixed from top to bottom or from the middle to both ends, and the nails are required to be evenly clothed, the nail distance is about 100-150, and the nail tail is immersed in the board surface.

In order to avoid shrinkage and deformation in the future, leave 3-5 seams at the splicing of plates and plates. For the finish with a large layout, the base plate should be installed at a staggered seam to avoid the formation of concentrated expansion and contraction stress due to the formation of through seams. The thickness of the edge of the adjacent plate must be uniform and consistent to avoid the height difference of the joint.
