For lamps embedded in the ceiling, the steps to replace the bulb are:

Cut off the power supply. Remove the gusset near the ceiling and find the lamp holder.

Take out the broken bulb from the lamp holder, and check its working voltage, power, and lamp port specifications. Then replace it with a bulb with the same parameters.

Turn on the power and press the light switch to test if the bulb is working properly.

After confirming that the bulb is working properly, turn off the switch and cut off the power.

Place the lampholder back in its place and fasten the gusset.

    Plug it back in.

During the whole process, it is more cumbersome to remove the ceiling gusset. If you use blades, screwdrivers and other tools to disassemble the gusset, it is easy to cause deformation or damage to the gusset. It is best to use a large-bore suction cup and pull it down evenly and forcefully by sucking the gusset.

In addition, genuine LED bulbs not only save power, but also have a long service life, which can reduce the number of times the bulb is replaced, saving a lot of trouble.

In the case of a cup spotlight, you do not have to remove the gusset. But the steps to cut off the power supply and check the parameters of the lamp cup are the same.

First, press the inner ring of the lamp cup to one side, and then buckle the outer ring of the lamp cup and pull it down when there is a gap. After taking out the whole lamp body, there is a spring on the inner edge of it, and you can take out the broken lamp cup by squeezing it. Check the parameters and replace them with the same lamp cup.

Turn off the light first, pry open a hole from the edge of the cover with a flat-mouth screwdriver, grab it with your hand, and then use the same method to pry out the second opening, and gently pull it down with your hand. Take the lamp off and take it apart.

If it's a spotlight, just unplug it, and plug it in if it's new.

If it is a chandelier, use a suction cup to open the ceiling, and then change the bulb, or you can directly remove the cover of the lamp without opening it to change the bulb.

Suction cups are used to remove the buckle plate, and do not use a blade to pry. Any kind of suction cup can be, hook suction cup, mobile phone suction cup, take turns to suck from the four corners of the gusset, don't suck from the middle, it will be troublesome to deform the gusset.
