First, the appearance quality of the floor.

For multi-layer solid wood flooring, observe its surface:

1.The surface paint is glossy, whether the paint film is plump and uniform, and whether there are needle grains, indentations, and sand marks.

2.There are no obvious defects in the surface material. The surface of the wooden floor should not have defects such as decay, dead joints, wormholes, cracks, and skin clamping.

2. Whether the dimensional tolerance of the product meets the requirements.

1.Whether the length, width and thickness of the specification and size tolerance of the product are consistent with the identification of the packaging box;

2.Whether the tenon and groove size of the product are spliced tightly and flat, this can be assembled on the flat ground by spot checking multiple floors to see the degree of tightness and whether the surface is smooth.

Third, the intrinsic quality of the floor.

Intrinsic quality is a key indicator of all kinds of wood flooring, but it is difficult to determine intuitively, so it must be tested by means of inspection. It reads as follows:

1.Formaldehyde emissions.

This problem exists in all multi-layer solid wood flooring made of urea-formaldehyde resin glue, and if the amount of formaldehyde released into the air is too large, it will be harmful to the human body. Multi-layer solid wood flooring contains a certain amount of formaldehyde, and the index value stipulated by the state is ?.

2.Water content.

The moisture content can usually reach about 5 12% is qualified (different regions, the standard range is also different), not more than 12%.

3.Adhesive properties.

Multi-layer solid wood flooring is made of adhesive-coated board surface when manufactured, so the quality of gluing directly affects the use effect and life. The quality of the glue can be reflected by two performance indicators, namely the impregnation peel and the strength of the glue.

1) Weigh the weight, a good floor should not be too light or too heavy. The weight of the floor is too light, mostly because the material of the selected substrate is relatively soft, so the strength will be relatively poor, and the floor is too heavy to deform and crack.

2) Look at the appearance, the paint surface of the high-quality floor is full and smooth, rich and natural, the paint film is transparent, and the physical properties of the appearance can be seen at a glance. The paint surface of inferior flooring is shriveled and obscure, with more exposed paint, bubbling, pinholes, ripples, particles, etc., poor transparency of paint film, blurred texture of surface plate, and obscure appearance of wood.

3) Look at whether the backboard and its surroundings are sealed, and high-quality floors will generally paint the backboard and its surroundings, so as to effectively reduce water vapor absorption and prevent warping and deformation. Most of the substrates on the back and surrounding of inferior floors are exposed, and there are many defects such as burrs, indentations, and glue penetration, which can easily cause deformation and warping.

4) Look at the buckle type, high-quality multi-layer solid wood flooring generally adopts locks, which has the advantage of no need to apply sizing, easy to install, tighter joints, and not easy to leave the joints in use. Most of the inferior floors are made of cheap buckles, which makes the floor easy to loosen and break from the joints, and it needs to be supposed and installed, which is not environmentally friendly and is not easy to be disassembled and reused.

5) Look at the straightness of the floor, high-quality multi-layer solid wood flooring has strict requirements for material selection, process control and factory inspection, and the edges of the finished floor and the board surface are smooth and straight. Inferior flooring is much rougher, and the edges and board surfaces are generally observed along the length of the floor with the naked eye, and obvious concave or convex or warped can be seen.

When choosing multi-layer solid wood flooring, you must start from the side, look at the density of the base wood, look at the thickness of the surface board, and look at what paint, how the paint is done, it is recommended not to use high-gloss paint, long-term use is not good for the eyes and mood!
