How to install a washbasin in the bathroom and what are the precautions

First of all, before installation, we must be clear about what are the common types of washbasins. Different types of washbasins will also have different effects!

Washbasin setting precautions:

1. When the drain plug and the washbasin are connected, the overflow hole of the drain plug should be aligned with the overflow hole of the washbasin as far as possible to ensure that the overflow part is unblocked, and the upper end face of the drain plug should be lower than the bottom of the washbasin after inlay.

2. The bracket fixing bolts can be not less than 6mm galvanized open bolts or galvanized metal expansion bolts, if the wall is a perforated brick, it is strictly forbidden to use expansion bolts.

3. After the washbasin and the drainage pipe are linked, it should be firm and dense, and easy to disassemble, and the link should not be open. The contact between the washbasin and the wall should be caulked with silicone paste.

4. Depending on the size of the bathroom area, the washbasin can be made into a freestanding or desktop type, the former is suitable for small and medium-sized areas, and the latter is suitable for larger areas.

Precautions when installing:

1. Draw an imprint on the wall according to the width of the basin and make a hole with a diameter of 120mm.

2. Wash the bricks and slag and other sundries in the hole from the water, insert the expansion bolts into the hole, stick them firmly with cement, cover the bolts with rubber pads, eye circles, and nuts, and screw them until the tightness is moderate.
