Three layer three parquet solid wood flooring is so popular, so how old is it?

In 1941, a renovation problem plagued the Swedish Palace.

Traditional solid wood flooring cracks and deforms during use, resulting in inability to be used for a long time, which seriously affects the noble image of the royal family.

Monarch Carl XV personally summoned all the carpentry owners in Stockholm to discuss countermeasures. One of the famous carpentry owners, Johan, was inspired by the structure of the arched door of the iconic building of ancient Rome, and used mechanics and aesthetics to create a three-story criss-cross technical structure of solid wood.

The three-layer solid wood is overlapped and pressed, so that the wood fibers are pulled by each other, and this structure can balance the internal stress between the woods, ensure the excellent deformation resistance of the solid wood floor, and greatly reduce the possibility of arching and cracking of the floor, so as to obtain a more stable structure than the traditional solid wood floor. Among them, the core board is made of Nordic fish scale pine, which is made of excellent material, light and soft, making the foot feel more comfortable. The sawing process retains the activity of the century-old wood and releases phytoncide, which is healthy for humans.

Thus, the world's first three-layer three-parquet solid wood floor was born.
