Preliminary preparations.

The preliminary work of waxing mahogany furniture is to apply the wax evenly. A brush dipped in wax can be used, and common brushes have bristle brushes. This is to do a good job of laying the foundation for waxing, just like laying the foundation for a house.

The second step is to wait for the furniture to be evenly coated on the surface, and then heat the surface of the furniture appropriately to make the wax evenly spread. In this process, a heat gun is used, but the temperature should not be too high when using a heat gun.

Third, it is hot wax. In this process, the temperature should be small, and the amount of wax used should also be controlled. In the process of heating, the wax melts away, so that the wax slowly penetrates into the material of the furniture.

The fourth step is to wax up. In this process, a traditional tool made from cow horns, commonly known as a wax screwdriver, is used. In this step, the floating wax on the surface of the mahogany furniture is removed at one time.

Uneven places can also be wiped with sandpaper. The cleaner the waxing, the more delicate and rounded the surface feel.

The fifth step is to wipe the wax. When wiping wax, you need to use a small coarse cloth or cotton cloth to rub along the direction of the furniture texture, and the speed should be appropriate. Wax wiping is to remove the wax that has not been shoveled clean on the surface of the furniture, so as to achieve an intuitive feel on the surface of the furniture.

The sixth step, the last step, is to shake the wax. Shake the wax and use a bristle brush, generally a board brush with black bristles that is 7-8 cm wide and 12-15 cm long and has good hardness. Shake the wax to wipe all parts of the surface of the furniture clean.

This is the last step, done well, the gloss of the surface can be reflected. Remember, after waxing the furniture, do not boil it with boiling water.

First of all, wipe the furniture with a clean rag, first remove the dust on the surface of the furniture, especially the places that are easy to fall dust. Then use a brush to dip an appropriate amount of Mo Luo and apply gently. Be careful not to be too sticky.

Hold the edges first, and then apply the middle part to avoid leaving too much wax on the edges. After applying the wax, wait 3 to 4 minutes before applying, and wipe off the excess wax with a towel when it is not completely dry.
