Bergamot is a cold-tolerant species in citrus, it likes warm, moist, sunny and well-ventilated environment, the most suitable growth temperature is 22 24, and the winter requires more than 5 to safely overwinter. If you go out of the room too early, you are susceptible to frost damage, so you can only get out of the room before and after the rain in the valley, and put it on the balcony to the sun and shelter from the wind after leaving the room, and maintain it until early to mid-November, and then enter the house for winter. At the same time, according to the size of the plant, the strength of the growth, and the seasonal climate, the number of top dressing, the intensity and composition are determined.

Newly potted ones are not topdressed, or topdressed 1 time before the second budding shoot. For plants that are more than two years old, in the growing season, dilute alum fertilizer water is generally applied once a half month, and the application is stopped on rainy days. For plants that are more than three years old, they should be added with 1 time of thick fertilizer after leaving the house.

Plants that can hang fruits, after the buds should stop fertilizing, when the fruit grows to the size of the little finger, the fruit has basically hanged, and can be applied every 7 10 days with 1 time of phosphorus-containing light fertilizer water 4 5 times. If potted bergamot only grows leaves and does not bloom, phosphorus fertilizer should be added. If the growth is not vigorous, there are many flowers, but the fruit cannot be hung, it is the relationship of lack of fertilizer, and the concentration and frequency of fertilizer should be increased.

If yellow-green or black-brown spots appear on the leaves of the plant, it is a lack of potassium in the potting soil, which will cause premature aging of branches and leaves, and will also cause fruit drop.
