The toilet has been leaking, how can you not close the main valve, and turn off the toilet water

Workaround:

If the water inlet pipe of the toilet is connected through the triangle valve (figure-eight valve), directly close the valve on the triangle valve, and you can turn off the water inlet pipe of the toilet;

If the toilet inlet pipe is directly connected to the inner wire elbow of the water pipe, it needs to be removed, and a triangle valve can be installed between the two to solve the problem.

1.Check that the flush switch (the inner part of the tank) is reset. The plastic flush switch of some flush toilets will occasionally get stuck after being worn for a long time and cannot be restored. Generally, the switch can be reset by repeating it several times.

2.Check the water level limit device of the water tank. Loose or too high a water level limit can cause the water level of the tank to exceed the overflow level and flow from the overflow pipe into the toilet.

3.Check the rubber plug at the outlet of the water tank. If the rubber plug at the outlet is damaged or blocked by foreign objects, resulting in poor sealing of the rubber stopper, it will also cause the toilet to flow more than once.

If your toilet has an angle valve installed, you can close the angle valve, if not, you can only find someone to repair it.

There is usually an angle valve at the back of the toilet, just turn that one off.

Generally, the toilet inlet pipe has a wrench that controls the water inlet with a valve, like a faucet switch.

You look along the toilet inlet pipe and turn it off.
