1. Surface paint cracking repair treatment.

Small cracks appear on the paint surface of the floor, and in severe cases, the paint film peels off. The paint film cracks due to the fact that the floor is exposed to sunlight or long-term wind blowing, and the floor is dry and shrinking.

Solution: Buy a better floor wax with a color fine tuned to a color similar to the color of the floor and then wax, the effect will be good, the brackets are not serious, you can DIY yourself, with an oil-based marker or crayon of the same color, and then gently apply it with your fingers, so that the scratches are not so obvious; If the scratches are deep, go to the building materials hardware store and buy caulk for the wooden floor

Or fill the depression with fine wood chips + water-based silicon that is close to the color of the wood floor, and then smooth it. Of course, there are still traces when repaired up close.

2. Repair the cracking of the floor plate.

For floors that have been lightly cracked, some mixtures can be used to fill the cracks in the floor; If the cracking situation is more serious, the only way to solve it is to replace the cracked part, and the consumer can contact the manufacturer to buy the required model for repair.

3. Repair the gaps between the floors.

IF THE GAP BETWEEN THE FLOORS IS MORE THAN 2MM, IT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED, AND IF THE DRY SHRINKAGE IS LESS THAN 2MM, IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED, AND IT WILL RETURN TO NORMAL AFTER AUTUMN AND WINTER. When it is severe, disassemble all the floors, resurface them and replace part of them as appropriate, and still need to reserve expansion joints to prevent the floor from expanding when wet.

4.In autumn, it is common and normal for wood floors to crack due to seasonal reasons.

The air in autumn is relatively dry, and the cracking of the wooden floor is caused by the gradual evaporation of moisture, and after repairing, the moisture is actually still evaporating, so it is still possible to crack again. Therefore, the more serious cracking problem of the floor in autumn can be slightly postponed for repair, and there is no need to rush to repair.
