However, if you look at the deformation characteristics of the floor after being wet, the laminate flooring is more obvious. Once the inside of the floor is damp, laminate flooring will quickly bulge and this deformation will be noticed within a day or two, while the deformation of parquet is a much longer process and will not be deformed immediately in the short term.

Laminate flooring is deformed when it is wet and absorbs water, it will arch and be difficult to restore its original shape, and it will never be "flat" again, but can only be replaced.

The solid wood floor can be dismantled and dried in the shade, and then reinstalled after the moisture content is restored.
