Generally, the position of the balcony is protruding on the outside of the main building of the building, and the orientation is mostly southern, so the sunshine time is sufficient, and the solar radiation is strong, which is very suitable for the growth of some light-loving flowers, such as Yueji, Milan, jasmine, geranium, nightshade, etc. However, the sunlight on the balcony is generally dominated by side light, and flowers are prone to light-oriented bending, so experienced flower keepers will turn the flower pot in time. In general, high daytime temperatures favor the photosynthesis of flowers; The low temperature at night is conducive to the flowers to reduce respiratory consumption. But in winter, because the temperature at night is very low, it is necessary to pay attention to frost protection, especially some balconies facing north, and less heat-loving flowers in winter.

The amount of evaporation on the balcony is on the high side, which is determined by its ventilation and light temperature conditions. Therefore, potted plants must pay attention to the supply of water. In autumn and winter, the air humidity is small, the potted flowers are evapotranspiration and the potting soil evaporation is larger, the appearance of the flowers is often not bright enough, the leaves often appear dry edges, yellowing and spots, and there will be wilting and drying up when it is serious, so watering must be timely, for some single larger flowers, if there is still a drought after watering, it must be changed to a larger pot, or moved indoors during the day to ensure the vigorous growth of flowers.
