What kind of spray paint is generally on furniture?

Common furniture paints include nitro paint, PU paint, PE paint, UV paint, and water-based paint (currently, in the promotion stage). Generally, the first three types of lacquer are used.

There are several types of paints commonly used for furniture:

1. Cover the paint commonly used in homemade furniture in the past, the paint completely covers the furniture material, and all you can see is the paint color. Commonly used are bright red, big green, etc. It has now been phased out.

2. In the production of lacquered mahogany furniture, this kind of paint is commonly used, which is sprayed on the surface of the furniture to reflect the color of the wood of the furniture itself.

3. PU paint (polyester paint) is often used in the production of high-end furniture such as classical and post-modern. This kind of paint has high permeability and can fully reflect the texture of wood grain. Because the wood conduit is completely filled to achieve a smooth effect, it is often called sealing paint.

The cost of making this paint is high, the operation is complex, the process is long, and the rework is difficult, but the paint is easy to clean, and the moisture cannot enter the furniture through the paint film at all. It is highly resistant to various corrosive substances.

4. PE paint: After the construction of the paint, a thicker paint film can be obtained, with excellent fullness and gloss, high transparency, good leveling, and the original paint is light in color and easy to spray. The coating film has ultra-high hardness and is commonly used in pianos and other products. However, the adhesion is not good and it is easy to fall off.

5. NC paint (nitro paint), NC paint is nitrocellulose paint, commonly known as nitro paint, which is especially suitable for antique effect, so it is often used in the production of American and British furniture. NC paint is often done with an open effect, and the conduit on the surface of the wood is exposed to the outside, pursuing a natural effect. NC paint drying time is fast, the operation process is short, and the rework is easy.

Tianna water, alcohol, etc. are very easy to damage the surface of this paint. The surface is highly susceptible to scratches. It is not resistant to high temperatures and cannot be burned by fire.
