    According to the provisions of paragraph 3 0 18 of the Code for the Calculation of the Construction Area of Construction Projects GB T 50353-2005, the balcony of the building shall be calculated according to 1 2 of its horizontal projection area.

    There are four types of specific situations:

    1) The original design of the enclosed balcony is calculated according to the horizontal projection area of its periphery;

    2) The construction area of the balcony (bottom balcony) is calculated according to half of the horizontal projection area of the bottom plate;

    3) The construction area of the concave balcony is calculated as half of its net area (including the area of the baffle wall);

    4) For the half-lifted and semi-concave balcony, the construction area of the protruding part shall be calculated according to half of the horizontal projection area of the bottom plate, and the construction area shall be calculated according to half of the net area of the recessed part.
