5. After the bathroom is tiled, before buying the toilet. Remember to use a ruler to measure the pit distance of the toilet bowl (the toilet pit distance is the distance from the center point of the toilet sewer pipe to the wall). ​

6. Don't underestimate the installation of the toilet, and don't think that the toilet is OK when you put it on. If the toilet bowl is not properly installed, there may be an overflow at the bottom in the future, and there may be an unpleasant smell. 

7. When installing the socket, special attention should be paid to the bathroom. Remember to install a waterproof box for the bathroom socket, otherwise there will be a safety hazard. Because the bathroom is a damp and enclosed space, people don't know where the water will splash when they take a shower and rub their backs. ​​

8. The door of the bathroom must not be equipped with a wooden door. Regardless of the quality of the wooden door, over time, the moisture in the bathroom will have a certain impact on the door or door cover. So it's better to choose a metal door, and it's cheaper than a wooden door.

The toilet on the first floor needs to be waterproofed. Prevent water from leaking through the wall and into the closet, etc., causing the wall to become damp. It is also mentioned in the national standard that waterproof, moisture-proof and ventilation measures should be taken in basements and semi-basements.

As far as I know, now the kitchen and bathroom of the new house have generally been waterproofed, I don't know what kind of situation you are. Personally, I think that the first floor still has to be drained, or it will cause the water absorption of the tiles to be easy to break.
