The floor drain in the bathroom is too high, and the water has been hoarding in the bathroom

The floor drain was re-dismantled and its height was lowered. The resulting costs are the responsibility of the original construction personnel.

This can only be repaired by a worker. I'm going to knock that piece and reinstall it, but it's going to be waterproof.

Don't dismantle the floor tiles, but let the water flow to the higher floor drain! If the floor drain is not too different from the lowest point, such as no more than 10mm (i.e. the thickness of a brick), a method can be used:

Use a small steel chisel or cutting machine to carefully make a groove at the lowest point to the floor drain, the width is about 10mm, and pay attention to the levelness of the groove.

When the groove reaches the floor drain, remove the cover of the floor drain and use a cutting machine to cut a gap on the side of the shallow groove where the floor drain is connected, so that water can flow from the lowest point to the floor drain.

After the above operations are completed, it is equivalent to digging an aqueduct.

If the ground is ugly and obvious after the sink is dug up, squeeze out a little with the porcelain paste used for the joints (a high-grade grout, like toothpaste, available in various colors, available in B&Q), and rub it on the groove with your fingers, taking care not to let the porcelain paste fill the groove! It only plays the role of smoothing and staining.

In this way, a non-obvious aqueduct quietly forms in the bathroom.
